More Excitement
While I like to consider myself a technophile, others brand me a tech addict. Not so. Like the Borg, I absorb only what is useful: "Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to my own. Resistance is futile."
So today I am very excited because I have finally laid my hands on the apple AirPort Express.

This device attaches to my stereo in the living room, and communicates with iTunes on my PC via my wireless network. Music is streamed from the PC to the stereo! No more hunting in the pile for a CD!

Birthday
What a lucky boy I am! My 36th birthday today, and I have received a wonderful gift from my family. Yuki, with the help of my father, found a 25 year old "Atomic" espresso machine. This wonderful icon of industrial design and superb function is a legend of coffee making history. This one, apparently, has never been used, and is of a rare colour only made in the seventies (hmm...). It makes wonderful, hot fresh coffee just sitting on the stove. Wow! Thanks!

That's not all though. Some lovely books, lunch at Awaba and playing on Balmoral beach made for a great day.

Global Warming...
The weather's changing - here's the hail that dropped on Sydney last Sunday!

Renovations
As any locals will know, we've been missing our home for three months. We moved out while major renovations took place, involving all of our downstairs, principally the bathroom, but also the installation of an inbuilt office and a new tiled floor. At last we are home, and everything looks wonderful! See for yourself!
